Millions of people realized they were fans of Kristen Stewart after watching her play Bella Swan in the Twilight saga.

But, if you look her up on Instagram, you won’t find her.

Instead, you’ll find tons of fan accounts that have been created in her honor by people appreciate her talent and skill set as an actress.

Here’s why you’ll never see Kristen Stewart on Instagram herself, though.

Instagram is not a vibe for Kristen who opened up about her stance on social media with The Hollywood Reporter.

She said, “I’m not totally engaged socially, but I feel like I’m not hiding.”

She went on to say, “For a minute a few years ago I felt like I had to protect myself so much. And now I’m totally unguarded and it’s a beautiful feeling. It kind of toyed with me when I was younger and a little more insecure. Now, it’s great that I have this position where I can feel really open about communicating with as many people as I possibly can. I don’t have social media, but there is an interaction that I acknowledge and at times I covet.”

Since Kristen has been the center of some very public scandals in the past, it makes sense that she’d want to keep herself protected from the cruelty of social media users around the globe.

People on social media don’t hold back when it comes to their harsh criticisms or judgments. But since she isn’t on Instagram, that’s not something she’s personally has to deal with in her life.

So, if Kristen isn’t busy scrolling through Instagram like other famous celebs, how does she fill her time?

Kristen is busy in love with her fiance, Dylan Meyer. They started dating in 2019, and it seems their relationship has been a wonderful track since then.

When romance rumors first sparked about them, no one knew for sure if they were dating.

Then, Dylan shared a picture of them kissing on her Instagram, which confirmed with everyone that they were in fact had over heels for each other!

Outside of her romantic relationship, Kristen is still always going to be known for her acting prowess and believability on camera.

Some of her more recent projects include Love Me, Love Lies Bleeding, and Sacramento, which all premiered in 2024.
