Someone better check on Taylor Swift, because three of her closest friends have been making endless headlines for all the wrong reasons.

We’re referring to Blake Lively, Brittany Mahomes, and Sabrina Carpenter.

Here’s a breakdown of all the drama Taylor‘s BFFs have been embroiled in recently, plus here’s some insight into how this is impacting Taylor individually.

Taylor’s BFF drama

Taylor and Blake have been good friends for many years, and they’ve often been photographed together having fun nights out on the town.

The beautiful blondes have been besties since about 2015 when they were first spotted hanging out in Australia.

They’ve been to each other’s parties, attended the Super Bowl together, posted celebratory birthday shoutouts for each other, worked with each other professionally, and more.

But Blake’s current drama in the public eye hasn’t been a good look. Many fans are upset because it doesn’t seem like Blake is taking the topic of DV seriously after starring in a movie called It Ends with Us that primarily focuses on the topic of DV.

Blake’s public feud with her on-screen co-star Justin Baldoni has only gotten worse as time has progressed.

People have been digging up the nitty-gritty details of Blake’s past including the fact that she got married on a plantation, the fact that she bullied an infertile interviewer, the fact that there might have been overlap in the time she started dating Ryan Reynolds while he was still married to Scarlett Johansson, and more.

Taylor‘s friendship with Brittany has been in motion since the fall of 2023 when they were photographed hanging out with each other in public for the first time.

Obviously, their blooming friendship made all the sense in the world since they’re both connected to superstar players on the Chiefs football team.

Brittany has been married to Patrick Mahomes since 2022, and Taylor is in the midst of a whirlwind romance with Travis Kelce.

Every time Taylor and Brittany are spotted together, it seems like they’re having a total blast in each other’s presence.

But fans aren’t too happy with Brittany at the moment after uncovering that she’s proudly and boldly part of the MAGA squad – even though she’s married to a biracial man, and even though she has biracial children.

Folks are convinced that her MAGA belief system goes directly against the best interest of her husband and kids, but since she herself is a white blonde woman, she seems to be unaffected and indifferent about all of that.

Taylor has been quite open about her liberal views over the years, which has people scratching their heads about how Taylor could possibly stomach maintaining a friendship with someone who supports MAGA beliefs.

But some fans aren’t too happy with Sabrina when they think about her messy and confusing relationship history.

For starters, it’s widely believed that Olivia Rodrigo’s song “Driver’s License” is about Joshua Bassett leaving Olivia for Sabrina.

She has enough going on since one of her European concerts was almost hit by a terrorist attack!

Taylor likely won’t make public comments about anything going on with Blake, Brittany, or Sabrina, but that’s not to say she won’t eventually write a song about how dramatic this period of her life has been when it comes to her social circle.
