The feud between Selena and Miley launched in 2006 when they realized they both had romantic feelings for Nick Jonas, the youngest member of the Jonas Brothers boy band.

Miley was dating him first, but then Selena attracted his attention. It definitely got messy!

Then, Selena started dating Justin Bieber, but Miley was spotted hanging out with him after the first Jelena breakup in 2012. Talk about drama!

Things took a positive turn in 2019 when Miley shared a throwback video of her and Selena singing “7 Things” from when they were younger.

Then, in 2022, Selena announced that Miley was the one who gave her advice about being herself and having fun while hosting SNL.

Later that year, Selena spoke highly of Miley saying to Rolling Stone, “F-ing love her.”

It was clear that any drama they once had was water under the bridge. Then, in 2024 Jennifer Stone laid it all out on the line during an episode of her podcast.

Jennifer said, “They intermittently got along. It was like high school. I think Miley dated him first and then Selena dated him and then it was just messy high school nonsense. I know they were intermittently not getting along. They’re fine now. But, yeah, it was high school just BS.”

Nick is now happily married to Priyanka Chopra, so if it was true that he was still getting in the way of Selena and Miley‘s friendship, that would truly be a devastation.
