Katy Perry is no different. She and her partner Orlando Bloom still reside in Katy’s home state of California.

The staple couple purchased a home in the Los Angeles area for a whopping 15 million dollars.

Getting the property wasn’t as easy as it should have been for Katy and Orlando, though.

The seller, Carl Westcott, originally signed a contract that agreed the home would be sold.

Shortly after signing the contract, Westcott changed his mind and didn’t want to sell the home.

The pair spent four years in court before coming to the conclusion that Katy and Orlando were indeed the rightful owners of the house.

While there are plenty of more serious problems in the world, having to battle for four years is something nobody should have to do for a home.

The fact that Katy and Orlando did so is a testament to their mental strength and toughness.
