While it’s not the ideal life, most folks are stuck working a 9-5 in the United States.

This leaves tons of people tired and aiming to simply relax during the weekends. However, @lemonbubbly shows us that exploration can in fact take place while working a 9-5.

Some of the places @lemonbubbly has visited

It’s important to remember that @lemonbubbly, aka Brittanie, still works a 9-5 job, as is mentioned in her bio.

She doesn’t up and go like a bunch of other travel content creators on social media. This makes her a lot more relatable, though, to the average person.

When skimming through a travel creators page, plenty of folks might think to themselves that what they do looks fun, but they’ll never have the time to make it happen.

It appears Brittanie went to Hawaii, the Mediterranean, and did a cruise around Bermuda in 2024.

She made it happen by using her time off in a smart way. She also didn’t use her time off to simply get things done around the house, something most folks do when they take a break from working.

These don’t include the many weekend trips that folks can assume she went on throughout the year.

There’s something to be said about realizing someone has the same type of life as you and still makes the memories most only dream of.

Some summer destinations in the United States Brittanie suggests visiting

Even though we are in the midst of winter, it’s never too early to start planning some summer vacations.

In fact, thinking about the warm weather and ease of doing outdoor activities is likely going to help you finish out the rest of the cold and dark days.

Brittanie offers somewhere that most people can make an easy weekend trip out of.

The first place on her list to visit in the summer months is Arcadia National Park in Maine. While getting to Maine might be a challenge for some folks, anyone in the Northeast will undoubtedly enjoy it.

Those on the west coast will want to hit up Lake Tahoe, another town that makes Brittanie’s list.

If you’ve never taken the time to get to Lake Tahoe, make sure you fit it in at some point in your life. The water is beautiful and the mountains are second to none.

Whoever lives in the midwest and southeast should visit Palm Beach, Florida.

While the midwestern part of the United States has a lot of amazing things to offer, something they don’t is a beach.

Grounding with the sand and relaxing in the water is an excellent way to recharge and refocus on what you have coming up in the future.

No matter where you live, there’s an adventure waiting for you around the corner. All it takes is a little research and adventurous spirit.
