You’re a reflection of your environment and your environment is a reflection of what’s happening inside you.
What we need to do is to work in tandem with our environment for a fulfilling life.
And when we talk about environment we mean your physical space, your digital space, and the people in both.
So how do we curate our environment so consciously that it supports our existence and growth.

Declutter your space
Are you an active participant in preserving your environment?
Your physical space can either inspire you or drain you.
The secret is to not let it drain you by cleaning your house, organizing your office desk, and disposing of clutter where it’s supposed to go.
Curate your digital space
Last week, we talked about decluttering your digital space, and this looks like a deep clean of your contacts, camera roll, follows and followers, and emails.
Evaluate your circle
If a Random stranger can upset your day over a small issue imagine the people you spend most of your time with.
Your co-workers, partner, friends, and family have a direct impact on your wellbeing.
Is your circle uplifting? Do they support your growth or do the exact opposite.
Your circle should strictly enhance your environment.
Affirm your space with intention
Affirming your space could look like decorating it with things that make you happy, and another way could look like using affirmative words on your walls, i.e., affirmations and sticky notes on your mirror.
A weekly challenge
Here’s a weekly challenge that will enable you to reclaim your environment.
Pick one area each week outside of your normal cleaning routine to focus on a part of your environment.
- Organize your closet.
- Clean your contact list.
- End a toxic friendship.
