I recently went to the Malibu Barbie Cafe in San Diego and it was exactly as dreamy as I hoped it would be.
I fell in love with Barbies as a little girl.
You might think that the Malibu Barbie Cafe would be located in Malibu, but that’s incorrect.
It’s indeed located in San Diego. Here’s exactly how my experience there went!
Details about the Malibu Barbie Cafe
I went to the Malibu Barbie Cafe in San Diego with my husband after he purchased tickets for us on the BucketListers website.
For a table for two, it costed about $66, but we received a $10 credit we could use towards our food, as well as a $5 credit we could use towards merchandise.
Upon arrival, we noticed how beautifully decorated and painted everything was in shades of hot pink and baby pink.
It was totally my vibe since pink is my favorite color!
My husband and I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, french fries, fruit skewers with sprinkled whipped cream dip, the build-your-own cupcake, a glass of strawberry lemonade, and an ice cream float that came in a hot pink Barbie sports car.
The food was well put together, aesthetically pleasing, and delicious.
After that, we explored the inside and outside of the cafe and took advantage of every photo opp.
From the entrance to the bar area, there were tons of Barbie-designed backdrops to pose in front of.
In the back patio, we discovered a roller blading rink where guests are welcome to rent rollerblades.
In the front corner to the right (as soon as you walk in the front entrance), you’ll also find the area where merchandise is sold, including loads of Barbie dolls, T-shirts, and baseball caps.
The Barbie Cafe is absolutely worthwhile if you consider yourself someone who’s a true diehard Barbie fan.
This is a place I wish I could’ve visited when I was still a child.
When I was there, I looked around and saw tons of little girls enjoying themselves, and it definitely brought me joy.
10 out of 10, would recommend.
