There are endless devastating realizations I’ve taken note of while watching and re-watching the show.

Because Jenny Humphrey wasn’t just a villain… she was a girl who kept getting punished every time she tried to fit in.

And the more you tune in, the more you start to realize something very uncomfortable:

Jenny is an easy target. She’s an easy character to hate on because people don’t take the time to understand her “villain origin” story, if you even classify her as a villain. I personally don’t.

Another uncomfortable truth is that Jenny might trigger certain people who resonate with her less redeeming qualities.

Jenny is absolutely relatable in some areas, but no one wants to admit that out loud.
