The Law of Attraction – the thought movement that states that thinking and saying positive or negative things will bring that respective energy into your life – is a fast-growing thought movement.
This taps into the thought that people, places, and things all have a certain energy – and what you put out into the world will surely return to you.
Believing in such things and putting them into practice are two different things entirely, and it takes work to get there. Tiktok user @BareNutritionHealth discusses a few phrases she’s been trying to eliminate from her vocabulary in an attempt to have a more positive outlook in life.
Ditch these low vibrational phrases ASAP
@BareNutritionHealth says, “Although it seems silly and minor, our words really are important.” By casually putting ourselves down or being caustic in our words even unintentionally, we create bad energy – which can manifest in some negative or unpleasant things down the line.
“I know many of us have probably looked in the mirror and probably said, ‘Hey, I look disgusting,’ or ‘I feel fat‘,” she notes.
But by slowly training ourselves out of those phrases and instead emphasizing the positive, we can redirect our energy towards a positive light.
Offer yourself a deliberate compliment when you look in the mirror next: by praising yourself instead of critiquing yourself, you give yourself a boost of positive energy and affirmation. You have to be your own cheerleader!
The user goes on to explain how she’s even trying to turn around less common thoughts: “I even want to stop saying things like I’m sick … instead you can say I’m healing or I’m getting over a cold,” she explains.
When something is hilarious: “Instead of saying I’m dead, I’m dying, why don’t you say I’m living for that?” By using your words deliberately and taking even jokingly negative phrases out of your life, you improve your chances of manifesting positivity.
