I’ve officially reached week 20 of receiving Semaglutide weight loss injections from ALX Aesthetics in Las Vegas.
I’ve been working with Alex Viray, the owner of ALX Aesthetics in order to achieve my wedding day weight loss goals.
As of today, I am 46 pounds down – the same as last week. Unfortunately, I hit a plateau due to some significant alcohol consumption over the last seven days.
Alcohol was a definite deterrent in my progress this week, which motivates me to avoid alcohol as I continue on this journey.
Despite the fact that the number on the scale hasn’t moved, I’m still loving the way I look and still feeling optimistic.

My week 20 visit to ALX Aesthetics consisted of my Semaglutide injection, followed by a B-12 shot with L-Carnitine as a weight loss boost.
While I was with Alex in her clinic, she let me know that I’m physically looking good and my progress is moving along smoothly!
My diet over this past week wasn’t exactly up to standard thanks to sugary alcoholic beverages.
Fortunately, my fitness was on point because I did a lot of outdoor walking with my Apple Watch to track my steps.
My daily supplements are still incorporated into my routine right now including apple cider vinegar, a probiotic gummy, powdered L-Carnitine, and Golo capsules. I’m also taking Chlorophyll in both gummy and liquid form.
My wedding dress fitting is in five weeks and my actual wedding day is in seven months. The time is starting to zoom by!
As I mentioned before, I’m feeling optimistic and hopeful about this journey, despite my current plateau.
I don’t see this weigh-in as a setback. I simply see it as motivation to make better choices by avoiding alcohol consumption moving forward.
