During an interview with 104.3 MYFM, Selena spoke up about Taylor‘s music career. She admitted that 1989 is her favorite era from Taylor.

As a reminder, 1989 was released on October 27, 2014. 1.287 million copies of the album were sold, according to Forbes.

Taylor‘s 1989 album includes unforgettable songs, like, “Blank Space,” “Wildest Dreams,” “Shake It Off,” “Style,” and “Bad Blood.”

For reference, “Style“ has 792 million views, and “Bad Blood“ has 1.5 billion views.

“Blank Space” has more than 3.2 billion views and “Shake It Off” has more than 3.3 billion views.

This era from Taylor was playful and fun! It was fab to hear Taylor sing about some of her past relationships, some of her friendship feuds, and some of the ways she heals from heartache.

All of Taylor’s eras are noteworthy and incredible, but this is the one that stands out the most to Selena.
