MJ says, “If you get swept up with the wrong guy – and it happens to all of us, none of us are above that if you’re attracted to men at all – If you get swept up with the wrong guy… it can f*** you up.
“You can lose yourself and for a lot of us, it’s during the best f***ing years of our lives. If you are in your 20s, don’t take any of these boys seriously.
“Do not expect to find your Prince Charming. There is plenty of time. If you are looking for real love, you are more likely to find real of past the age of 35.”
While it’s totally possible to cross paths with a man who has good intentions before you reach the age of 35, it’s still important to keep your heart protected.
Keep your eyes open and be wary of every single red flag.
It’s normal to be excited about the prospect of getting married and starting a family someday (if that’s where your head’s at.)
But you can’t blindly fall for men who haven’t proven themselves based on your hope that a long-lasting relationship might form.
You have to make sure you’re not falling for any lies being whispered into your ear by men who know how to manipulate women with their charming words.
As unfortunate as it is, youth is seen as a form of currency in the dating world.
Wasting years of your 20s and 30s with men who don’t have good intentions is only going to hurt you in the long run.
Men who play mind games, men who are scared to commit, and men who aren’t making you feel like the best version of yourself don’t deserve your time or attention.
Giving undeserving men the best years of your YOUTH is a terrible mistake for any girl to make.
