If you’ve been scrolling through Netflix trying to narrow down which interesting new reality TV show you should binge-watch, look no further.

Too Hot to Handle is easily one of the most addictive reality TV shows to be featured on a streaming platform.

The first season premiered in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The show has gone on for five successful seasons since then.

There’s a reason Too Hot to Handle is such an easy reality TV show to obsess over.

‘Too Hot to Handle’ is a winning Netflix binge-watch

Step one: Place a group of young, attractive singles at an island resort together.

Step two: Encourage a dress code of tiny bikinis and swim trunks – and make sure the ambiance is immaculate.

Step three: Abruptly enforce a strict set of abstinence rules so that no one is allowed to hook up with each other!

The premise of Too Hot to Handle is just as edgy and intriguing as you would guess after
clicking through the thumbnail teasers of each episode on Netflix.

Thousands of dollars are at stake for the contestants on the show, and the only way they’ll be able to keep money in the prize pot is if they’re able to keep IT in their pants.

A talking cone named Lana presents the contestants with the rules and informs them that
they’re always being watched – no matter where they are.

They’re not allowed to indulge in any form of sexual contact, and that includes kisses. Hilariously enough, they’re not allowed to engage in self-gratification either.

Cameras are hovering over all the beds and there are even cameras located in the bathrooms.

There’s truly no place for these contestants to hide and there are no private areas for them to secretly hook up, regardless of how horny they are.

Any time contestants get caught doing sexual things they shouldn’t be doing, Lana deducts money from their prize fund. She also makes sure punishments are adequately delegated.

The first two seasons of the show offered contestants a starting prize fund of $100,000, while
the most recent seasons kicked it up to $200,000.

Every rule break costs a varying amount, which means heavy petting will cost more than a simple kiss.

The purpose of Too Hot to Handle is to give young adults with commitment-phobia the
opportunity to grow as human beings.

Joining together for workshops that dive into their mental health, level of self-love, and need for self-growth helps the contestants learn more about themselves as they shed layers of romantic toxicity and immaturity.

According to Cosmopolitan, Too Hot to Handle Season 6 has already been confirmed.

Netflix sent out a message on X (formally known as Twitter) letting the world know they’re searching for new contestants to participate.
