The notion of self-love is crucial to talk about and unpack. Cultivating self-love often requires growth to some degree.
One way you can do this is by tweaking the reactions and responses you have when interacting with low vibrational people.
Pretend they don’t exist AT ALL

It’s okay to not engage! You’re practicing self-love if you can successfully pretend low vibrational don’t exist.
When someone judges or criticizes you — go straight to Jamba Juice. Or immediately turn on a Lana Del Rey song. Or quickly book a yoga session.
Do not respond. Do not react. Do not engage.
This rule applies whether the interaction is happening in person or over the internet. If it’s in person, politely excuse yourself. If it’s over the internet, delete and block!
Let them talk sh**, but have it be their own lonely one-sided conversation.
Every interaction is an energy exchange, so stop feeding your energy to negative people who are STARVING for it.
Energy vampires want to drain you. Cut off their supply. Don’t engage.
The easiest way to do this is by quickly moving on to an activity that brings you joy. Disregard their insult, their criticism, or whatever nastiness they spewed your way, and start doing something that will make you smile.
Turn on an episode of your comfort TV show, scroll TikTok for cute puppy videos, or head to your favorite boutique to try on new clothes. Do something, ANYTHING, that will prevent you from engaging.
Protect your energy. Reacting and responding gives them the chance to siphon your beautiful energy, and that’s not okay.
