The retirement age used to be 65 and now it’s 67.
Now, there’s a chance it will be raised up to 70 for Millennials and Gen-Zers. The way we’re thinking about our present lifestyles needs to be adjusted.
It’s time to live life… now

Just because people with outdated, old-fashioned, Boomer mentalities think waiting until you’re old and retired is a way to live, it doesn’t mean we all have to live this way.
Many of us young people are not waiting for a ridiculous retirement age to start living our lives.
We’re going to live our lives right now.
Young people who want to experience life without having to wait until they’re old should only be pursuing jobs that offer four-day working or remote opportunities.
This is how we can maintain a better work-life balance. If companies that are being run by Boomers don’t keep up with the times, they’ll continue having a high turnover rate of Millennials and Gen-Zers – or they’ll have to start hiring boomers who share their same mentality.
Tomorrow isn’t promised. If they keep raising the retirement age higher, what exactly are we working for?
We might as well experience bliss and joy while we’re young. The only moments we know are guaranteed are the ones we’re actively living right now.
