According to The Hollywood Reporter, Renee consistently looked up to Beyoncé for inspiration when she was still finding her footing in the Hollywood industry.
Renee said she “would sit down and listen to [Beyoncé’s] different tonalities and phonics and phrasing styles and be like, ‘Please, Jesus, let me be able to do this.”
The Sex Lives of College Girls actress gushed on about Beyoncé saying, “She is everything, and the reason that I know how to sing.”
It’s extremely sweet that Renee is so open and honest about finding inspiration in someone as talented as Beyoncé.
Beyoncé has often been described as the blueprint to emulate for young singers on the rise.
In February 2024, Renee received the most pleasant and unexpected surprise from Beyoncé.
The “Lemonade” singer sent Renee a lavish bouquet to show appreciation for Renee’s cover of the song “Daddy Lessons.”
Renee posted the bouquet on Instagram to showcase her utter shock and disbelief. She added a caption that said, “Being seen by your hero is the most indescribable feeling. Beyoncé you are my inspiration.. you are everything to me. I’m speechless.”
Would it be possible for Beyoncé and Renee to potentially collaborate on a song at some point in the future?
