Ever feel like your emotions are riding a rollercoaster in your relationship? Well, guess what?  It happens to all of us.

According to TikTok dating coach @sabrina.zohar,  “It’s very f-king normal for feelings to fluctuate and we need to normalize that.”

There’re days when you’re head over heels for your partner and you think they are amazing.

And there are also days when you’re ready to pull your hair out because they left the toilet seat down again.

It’s perfectly normal. It doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with your relationship.

Relationship fluctuations

Let’s be real. Relationships are not all rainbow and sunshine. Sometimes it feels more like a messy pile of socks you can’t seem to find a match for.

In fact, here’s what Sabrina says: “Its not always gonna be daisies and roses, it’s not always gonna be like cloud nine.”

There’re nothing wrong with you or your relationship when you face some issues.  And it just means you are human and our feelings fluctuate all the time.

However, when you can’t talk to your partner about it.

Or you’re constantly walking on eggshells around them because they gaslight you or make you feel unsure of yourself, and then you have a major problem.

But if that’s not the case, yeah, it’s completely normal for your feelings to fluctuate.

And it’s high time we normalized this. Most people run  out of relationships the minute the honeymoon stage is over.

Because their nervous system is used to feeling only extreme emotions, a safe and healthy relationship feels boring and uncomfortable.

So, if you find yourself worrying that you can no longer  feel the spark in your relationship, just remember it’s all part of the ride.

Embrace the fluctuating emotions and trust that as long as you’re communicating and treating each other with respect, you’re right where you’re supposed to be.
