For a second there, the world thought Sydney Sweeney and Lili Reinhart were feuding.

In reality, the blonde beauties are actually good friends with each other in real life! They’re on better terms than trolls would like you to believe.

In the fall of last year, rumors about a feud between Sydney and Lili started making their rounds.

It all began when Sydney was filmed smiling and hugging a group of people at red carpet event. Lili happened to be one of the individuals in that group.

Someone created a slow-motion version of the video to zoom in on Lili’s face. They tried to make it look like Lili was super annoyed by Sydney‘s presence by honing in on her tightened jaw and squinted eyes.

The video pulled in more than 2.5 million likes on TikTok with thousands of comments flooding in about why Lili could’ve possibly been so disturbed by Sydney.

Some people said the feud started because Sydney and Lili have different political views.

Others said Lili might simply be jealous of Sydney since pop culture fans spend time comparing them based on their matching blonde hair.

The reality of the matter is that Sydney and Lili never had any drama with each other in the first place.

Lili took to Twitter to post, “Stop making villains out of women every chance you get.”

The tweet was well-received and even got tons of engagement. 3.8 million people laid eyes on it.

Right after that, Sydney and Lili shared a selfie together with a caption that said, “We’ll be over here if you need us.”

They seemingly shut down the rumors of a feud in that moment to clear up any confusion people might’ve had.

Historically speaking, the pop culture world has always pitted famous, young, and beautiful women against each other for the drama of it all.

Some examples? It’s unlikely anyone will forget about the drama between Hailey Bieber and Selena Gomez.

Or the drama between Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift. Or the drama between Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag.

This time around, though, Sydney and Lili are not allowing their names to be dragged into the muddy mass of another pop culture feuds list.
