This one is for the girls who are into self-growth and mindset but whose partners aren’t fully on board.
Sadly, there’s a stigma surrounding these topics that men think they are “girly” or “feminine.”
While this is certainly far from the truth, it’s the reality the world is in right now.
I’m no better, truth be told. My wife has been into the Law of Attraction, mindset, and self-growth ever since we started dating.
A.J. Brown’s positive influence
My wife has tried her hardest to get me into the same things, and we have even had massive fights about it.
I’ve repeatedly told her it’s not at the top of my list of things I’m interested in, even though she’s told me countless examples of men who practice these same things.
It’s honestly nearing the point that my wife doesn’t even bring anything up to me regarding the Law of Attraction anymore, as the fact that I push back constantly makes her sad and brings down her vibration.
The only things I know about the topic are from what she’s told me.
I haven’t looked into anything on my own, even though I’ve sworn I was going to at some point.
It’s always been on the back burner for me, even as I’ve had my own struggles with various things in recent years. However, funny enough, a switch finally flipped for me.
Like most men who aren’t into the Law of Attraction, manifestation, mindset, and self-growth, I used to think it was “girly.”
I’m a man who’s into “manly” things like sports and action movies.
I couldn’t be bothered spending time worrying about researching these things while my teams are playing.
Even among needing to better myself financially, I couldn’t have cared less.
In a recent playoff game, Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown was caught reading a book called Inner Excellence on the sidelines … DURING THE GAME. This is almost unheard of.
Most of the time, the players spend their time on the sidelines talking about what plays they’re going to run next.
However, Brown spent his time reading a self-help and mindset book.
Again, this wasn’t during a meaningless regular season game. This was the middle of a win-or-go-home game. The Eagles won and moved on.
After the game, Brown talked about what he was reading and why he was reading it.
He said that reading the book “gives me a sense of peacefulness, peace. That’s a book I bring every single game.”
Brown later went on to say that he reads it every single game, and that’s the first time he’s been caught reading it by a camera.
In a sport that’s one of the most physical in the world, Brown said it helps him with the mental side of things.
Judging by how crumpled and worn down the book looked, it’s clear Brown wasn’t kidding when he said he brings it with him to every game.
As someone who didn’t really care to look into mindset on my own, it was quite eye opening to see someone who’s as great as Brown and learn he literally reads on the sidelines during games.
I feel horrible that it took this long for me to realize the importance of mindset and what it can do for you.
I wish I had listened to my wife at the beginning because I would likely have avoided every negative situation I’m currently facing as we speak.
It sucks to feel like I would only listen if a professional athlete spoke about the importance of mindset.
But to all the girls who are literally begging their partner to get on board with these topics, please show them the clip of A.J. Brown reading on the sidelines.
Please show them his interview after the game. Because I would bet that most partners are just like how I am. It’s “feminine” and “girly” until I see someone I truly think is a man doing it.
Then, the floodgates open up. The willingness to learn and discover becomes apparent.
There’s no excuse for men who try to hide behind how they think these topics are perceived.
If a star wide receiver can take the time to read about mindset during a literal NFL playoff game, then any other man on the face of the planet can take some time out of their day as well.
