All you need is a vacuum seal bag, which you can find at your local Target or Walmart, or of course, they’re available all over Amazon.

These sealable bags are available for around $10 to $15 and come in many different sizes and variety packs. Here’s how they work:

1. Roll your items and pack them as tightly as you can into the plastic vacuum seal bag.
2. Take the clasp that comes with the bag and seal the top shut.
3. Attach your vacuum to the vacuum hole that is on the bag.
4. Vacuum the bag until you can’t take out any more air — just watch it go down in size!

After you do this, all of the air will be sucked out and leave you with a bag up to half of the original size! Now you can fit more in your luggage for less.

One large compression bag can fit into your carry-on and still leave you room for toiletries, electronics, shoes, and more.
