For the longest time, Las Vegas has been highly revered and respected for being one of the most iconic vacation destinations in America.
It’s been affectionately labeled an “adult playground” as well as Sin City.
However, some hotels in Las Vegas should be avoided like the plague!
According to NonGamStopBets, there are five hotels in particular that will likely leave you super disappointed during your stay in Las Vegas.
Here’s what these casino experts have deciphered with the data they compiled.
Avoid these 5 Las Vegas hotels

The worst hotel you can book in Las Vegas is Circus Circus Hotel and Casino.
The two most common search words in conjunction with Circus Circus are “dirty” and “outdated.” That’s not a good look!
In second place, another hotel you might want to avoid would be the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
Just like Circus Circus, it’s also been described as “dirty” and “outdated” by former guests.
Flamingo Las Vegas lands in third place with guests describing it as both “dirty” and “disappointing” after booking rooms there.
In fourth place, you’ll find Luxor Hotel and Casino. Guests who’ve stayed at the Luxor have described it as being “dirty” and “broken” when it comes to things like elevators, door knobs, and beyond.
The fifth and final hotel to avoid on the Las Vegas trip would be Harrah’s Las Vegas Casino.
Guests describe it as being “disappointing” and “poor” after staying there, which is obviously quite unfortunate.
Paul Hayward, CEO of NonGamStopBets, commented on the findings saying, “Our study highlights the gap between the hype and the actual visitor experiences at some of Las Vegas’s most recognizable hotels. The findings show that cleanliness is a prominent issue among these establishments.
“We recommend that tourists not be swayed by the grand appearance of these hotels when choosing accommodations in Vegas, but instead, conduct research into reviews to ensure a comfortable and budget-friendly experience.
“It is essential for travelers to be aware of these common complaints to avoid disappointment and make the most of their visit to Las Vegas.”
