Ronan McLoughlin, a spokesperson for Boutique Hotel Hub, has commented,
“Hotel cleanliness is an extremely important factor when selecting accommodation, especially after the global pandemic shed light on the spread of germs. Cleanliness is important for any hotel, but it is especially important for those in tourist hotspots like Los Angeles, California, which will see a much higher number of guests. Kentucky and California both appear twice in the rankings, highlighting the high standard of cleanliness among hotels in these states.
“It’s always worth checking reviews left by visitors when choosing a hotel to stay in, as it will give you an idea of what your stay will be like. If you feel your hotel room isn’t up to standard, you should always raise this with the hotel staff, as providing a clean environment for guests should be the standard.”
