If you want manifestation to actually work, you need to write it down like it’s already real.
If you’ve ever felt like manifestation kind of works but not all the way, there’s a good chance you’re missing one crucial step: writing things down — in the present tense.
This isn’t just a cute journaling tip. It’s energetic strategy.
I have multiple journals dedicated to manifesting my dreams, and I swear by this practice.
It’s helped me manifest my husband, land dream jobs, travel to incredible destinations, and attract opportunities that once felt out of reach.
The key? I don’t write what I want. I write what already is.
That means no more “someday” language like:
→ “I hope I meet someone who loves me.”
→ “I want to open a wellness studio.”
Instead, I write:
→ “I’m so grateful I married the love of my life.”
→ “I’m so grateful my wellness studio is thriving.”
See the difference?
When you write in the present tense, your subconscious mind starts to accept it as truth. And your energy shifts to match the version of you who already has what she wants. That’s when you start taking aligned action, noticing signs, and magnetizing the right people, places, and possibilities into your life.
But when you write things like “I want” or “I wish,” you energetically lock yourself into the frequency of lack. You’re affirming to the Universe that what you want is still far away — and guess what? It stays far away.
So if you’re serious about manifesting, make your journal your sacred space. Write your vision down as if it already happened. Feel the joy. Speak the gratitude. Let yourself believe it’s done.
Because once your energy matches the outcome, reality has no choice but to follow.
