Taking a break from social media every once in a while is a great idea for just about anyone’s mental health!
Social media is great when it comes to keeping people connected, but it can also be toxic every once in a while.
Kajino just conducted a research study to analyze nationwide Google searches relating to social media, living life as an influencer, and becoming a content creator.
These are the 10 states who have no interest in what social media has to offer.
10 places that DGAF about social media

It might be in your best interest to take a vacation in a destination that isn’t phased by social media if you genuinely need a break from all of the scrolling.
Chilling out from using TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and the rest might be exactly what you’re looking for.

Kajino says New Mexico is the number one state that doesn’t care about a career as a social media influencer.
West Virginia comes in second place, followed by Montana and Alaska. In fifth place, you’ll find Maine, in sixth place you’ll find Iowa, and in seventh place you’ll find South Dakota.
Kentucky snags the eighth position with Wyoming following in ninth. Last but not least, Wisconsin is the 10th state that doesn’t have much of an interest in social media influencing.
Hekima Yoshida from Kajino spoke on the topic saying, “Since its invention, social media’s presence in society has continued to grow – and it doesn’t look like that is going to change in the near future.
“In fact, each year brings more opportunities for growth thanks to the creation of new social media platforms, and more brands willing to collaborate with influencers.

“If done successfully, not only does an influencer lifestyle come with a generous salary, but it also has flexible hours that can often be carried out from anywhere in the world.
“It’s no wonder it’s an attractive prospect for many young people – especially the opportunity to create content about their interests.
“However, being so heavily in the public eye can have downsides. Many influencers talk of the struggles of having details of their personal lives scrutinized, which is perhaps a con that outweighs the pros for certain states, such as New Mexico and West Virginia.”
